I write about the role silence plays in moral transformations, and about the ways patterns of silence structure our lives.
Spiritual autobiography, Rhetoric and popular culture, Magical and occult literature I hold the Ph.D. in English from the University of South Carolina, and most of my recent research has involved rhetoric and popular culture. I have published and presented on spiritual autobiography, magical and occult texts, gender studies, American literature, and pedagogy. My current work focuses on the industrial/dark ambient band Coil and the intersections of magic, rhetoric, and gender in their work and its cultural contexts.

His dissertation research focuses on how inquiry-based teaching as opposed to more traditional forms of teaching, impact students in the college science classroom

Biology Mark Roberts is a Senior Instructor of Biology in the Division of Science, Mathematics and Engineering, USC Sumter.
My research has examined young children's understanding of life and death concepts, the cognitive underpinnings of metaphor and irony comprehension in young children, the development of paranormal beliefs, terror management theory, and the scholarship of assessment and teaching. In 2014 I left Maine to assume the role of Regional Campus Dean of USC Sumter.
Business Adminitration, Economics Hennie has published over seventy scholarly and professional articles in the United States and Europe. His current research and publications focus on business valuation and electronic message boards. He received the 2012 South Carolina Governor's Professor of the Year Award for two-year colleges.
