Professor

I hold the Ph.D. in English from the University of South Carolina, and most of my recent research has involved rhetoric and popular culture. I have published and presented on spiritual autobiography, magical and occult texts, gender studies, American literature, and pedagogy. My current work focuses on the industrial/dark ambient band Coil and the intersections of magic, rhetoric, and gender in their work and its cultural contexts.
