Online learning, assessment and standards, Andragogy Prior to graduating from the University of Georgia (UGA), Tena Crews taught at the secondary and technical school levels teaching business and technology courses. After graduating from UGA, Crews served as the technology coordinator developing the first schoolwide network at an elementary school and then began her higher education career in 1996 at Ball State University (BSU).

Mihalik, former Dean of the College of Hospitality, Retail & Sport Management, now leads the Center for Mega-Event Research & Education at USC. The Center & its Fellows specialize in a variety of research projects including the use of social media listening (SML) for clients. His most recent research involves the investigation of global mega-events, i.e., the Olympic Games via SML and the development of 360 Virtual Reality content of Olympic legacies for class inclusion.

He has published books, book chapters, and articles in hospitality, tourism, and general business journals. The majority of his scholarly articles appear in the discipline’s top-tiered journals. Throughout his career, he has sustained his research focus in the marketing area, with a particular emphasis on how customers value different product and service experiences.
Athlete development, Sport career transitions, Identity development in sports organizations Michael Sagas became Dean of the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management at the University of South Carolina on June 15, 2023. Sagas came to South Carolina from the University of Florida, where he served as a professor of sport management and director of the Institute for Coaching Excellence in the Department of Sport Management.

People at work Todd's primary research interest is in people at work. Recently he has investigated the connection between various employee attitudes and work outcomes, as well as the attraction applicants have for certain industry job openings. Outside of sport industry contexts, he has also explored the relationship between strategic human resource management and firm performance.
