Dr. Narasimhan serves as the Director of the Division of Biological Research in the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Ongoing research projects at USC-SOM include understanding the neurobiology and novel pharmacological interventions in mood disorders, schizophrenia and co-morbid substance use disorder, and autism. Board certified in psychiatry, she has special interests in mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
