I examine how people perceive and interact with technologies such as social robots, virtual assistants, and computer agents, and how virtual and augmented reality are utilized to navigate spaces and sustain social connections. Additionally, I investigate the psychological and social effects of emerging communication technologies, focusing on their impact on user experience, ethical considerations, cognitive processing, well-being, trust, and their roles in shaping persuasion and misinformation.
