I have expertise conducting qualitative studies that incorporate textual analysis, in-depth interviews, and focus groups. I also lead community engaged projects that involve oral histories, ethnographic methods, and organizing community events. My research focus areas include digital and traditional media, crisis communication, and popular culture.
