Dr. Wilcox's research has two primary foci. First, she studies factors that influence physical activity. This research is grounded in behavioral theory and attempts to understand personal, social, and environmental factors that relate to physical activity in generally understudied populations. Second, she conducts research to promote physical activity and healthy eating in individuals and communities.
