Goodwin, Richard Lance

Research Associate

My research interests include the mechanisms that regulate the initial formation of tissues during development as well as pathological tissue remodeling processes such as those that occur in cancer and fibrosis. To study these mechanisms in detail, my lab has generated in vitro models of development and disease that recreate the three-dimensional and mechanical environments of in vivo tissues. By moving between in vivo and our complex, in vitro approaches, discovery and validation are connected.
