Benitez-Nelson, Claudia

Professor

One of the leading questions that I am currently seeking to answer is "What are the processes that dominate natural and/or anthropogenically induced climate change." My present research focuses on understanding the biogeochemical cycling of phosphorus (P)in the ocean and what controls particle formation and organic carbon(C)fluxes from the surface ocean to the deep floor.
