Sjoerd Beugelsdijk holds the J. Willis Cantey Chair and is professor in international business and economics at the Darla Moore School of Business of the University of South Carolina. He is an expert on economic (de-)globalization and cultural and institutional differences. Beugelsdijk has held visiting positions at several universities including Copenhagen Business School, Bocconi University, and KU-Leuven, and holds an honorary chair in international business at the University of Groningen.
