Ting Fung Ma research concerns the development of novel methodologies for data with complex dependence and big volume, such as spatial data, spatio-temporal data and correlated categorical data. He aims to capture the essence of data and address both theoretical and computational challenges through concepts and tools from composite and approximate likelihood theory, and modern computational techniques.
