Scott, Jewel

Assistant Professor

I study cardiovascular health, focusing on young adult women and populations at elevated risk due to social and structural conditions. My work spans primary and secondary prevention, examining how stress, social connections, and clinical outcomes shape long-term cardiovascular and maternal health. I incorporate biomarkers related to inflammation and aging to better understand pathways linking social experiences and cardiovascular health and to identify potential intervention targets.
