Ray Bai's methodological and theoretical research focuses on high-dimensional Bayesian models (particularly semiparametric/nonparametric methods) and scalable algorithms for high-dimensional data. His applied research focuses on meta-analysis, data integration, and statistical analysis of electronic health records (EHRs).
