Rita Dixon hails from Jacksonville, Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology at the University of North Florida in 2003. She attended the MUSC Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2008; after which she worked in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Rita has worked at the UofSC SOM PA Program since 2016 and currently serves as Admissions and Communications Chair, Clinical Assistant Professor, and is the primary faculty member in charge of student recruitment.
