Dr. Mancik is currently involved in several projects examining macrostructural forces that contribute to variation in homicide rates across time and space, both in the U.S. and internationally. She is also engaged in research examining both micro and macro influences on police clearance of homicide and violence, as well as research addressing violence reduction and prevention efforts.
