Composer, scholar and drummer Dr. Nolan Stolz is Associate Professor of Music at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Although firmly rooted in the contemporary classical tradition, his compositions are clearly influenced by his performance background in jazz fusion and progressive rock. His works have been performed in North and South America and Europe, including many regional, national and international festivals and conferences.
