Kiaris, Hippokratis

Professor

Our laboratory is interested on how context specificity affects the kinetic profile, the morphology and the properties of malignant tumors. This context specificity primarily refers to the effects of the stromal microenvironment in the cancer cells as well as to how the differentiation state of a given cell affects its sensitivity to oncogenic transformation. For our study we use extensively transgenic and mutant mice.
