Professor Geoffrey Alpert has been conducting research on high-risk police activities for more than 25 years, and has published more than 100 journal articles and 15 books. Dr. Alpert recently completed a major study on police officer decision making funded by the National Institute of Justice, and an investigation of racial profiling for the Miami-Dade County, Florida Police Department.
