Dr. Guedhami's research interests primarily cover privatization, liberalization, and corporate
governance, with a particular focus on emerging markets. Specifically, his research examines the determinants of postprivatization performance changes, the impact of privatization on corporate governance and ownership structure, and the determinants of ownership structure of newly privatized and public firms.
