My research areas examine relationships between information access, use, information flows, and human rights concerns. I have conducted research on the the information needs and information seeking behavior of resettled refugees, the Open Access Movement, North-South information flows, and the information needs of Central African human rights and civil society groups. Additionally, I have published on the rhetoric of library development in African and its relationship to cultural rights.
