Holcomb, Christopher
Professor
I am currently working on a book (co-authored with Stan Dubinsky) titled Introduction to Language Through Humor (under contract with Cambridge University Press). This book uses jokes, cartoons, and snippets from sitcoms and standup to introduce readers to linguistic concepts (e.g., word formation, syntax, pragmatics, language variation, and so on).
