Paul Chaplin is a clinical senior instructor in the Elementary Education
Program. When working with future teachers, he emphasizes the importance
of using physical knowledge to support young learners gaining a greater
understanding of math concepts. Teaching candidates under his guidance
know the importance of the student/teacher relationship in building a viable
learning community.
