Before joining the faculty of the University of South Carolina-Columbia, Dr. Yow earned her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr.Yow is a former secondary mathematics teacher and current National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent and Young Adulthood Mathematics. Her research interest include mathematics education, teacher education and teacher leadership.
