Dr. Zhu's research focuses on understanding the role of central dopaminergic pathways in brain function, with a specific focus on behavior related nicotine addiction. The long-term research goal is to understand molecular and neurobiological mechanisms of behavior related individual differences in vulnerability to drug abuse.
