Chen, Tieling
Professor
Dr. Tieling Chen conducts research in edge detection in remotely sensed images. Mathematical operations such as wavelet transformation, gradient operation, and Laplace operation are used to locate the boundaries of man-made objects. His interests also include color models, which are abstract mathematical models used to describe colors. Color models have significant applications in computer graphics and color imaging.
