Shapiro, Cheri

Research Associate Professor

Dr. Cheri Shapiro received her Ph.D. in Psychology (1991) from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. She has worked to direct large intervention studies as well as psychological services in both community and university settings. Dr. Shapiro is primarily interested in parenting and prevention of a wide range of negative outcomes for youth, including maltreatment, delinquency, and obesity. In addition, she is interested in dissemination of evidence-based parenting and family interventions.
