Dr. Tyrone Toland is Professor of Informatics in the Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems, where he also serves as the Department Chair. Dr. Toland earned his Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science in computer science applied mathematics from the University of South Carolina Upstate (Spartanburg). He has extensive experience in systems development from industry.
