He was previously chair of the Department of BioMolecular Sciences and a professor of medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, and pharmacology at the University of Mississippi. He has led 4 center grants from the NIH and the CDC and has received more that $36 million in extramural funding during his career. |

She then completed a primary care pharmacy practice residency at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in 2004. |
