Elliott Chen Clinical Associate Professor		Dr. Elliott Chen joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2008. Prior to his appointment with the Department of Surgery, he was employed as a general plastic surgeon with Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery with University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio.
Zeid M. Keilani Clinical Assistant Professor		Zeid M. Keilani, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, and completed his general surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. He completed his fellowship training in advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is board certified in general surgery. Dr. Keilani is skilled in advanced laparoscopic surgery including gastric, intestinal, colorectal, spleen and adrenal surgery.
Fernando A Navarro Clinical Associate Professor	General Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery	Dr. Navarro comes to Columbia having just completed an intensive fellowship in all aspects of minimally invasive surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Navarro's special interests are in wound healing and in surgical simulation. Dr. Navarro welcomes referrals for patients requiring all general surgical related procedures with particular emphasis on minimally invasive procedures.
