Dr. Berry A. Campbell

Clinical Professor

OB-GYN-Maternal - Fetal Medicine Dr. Campbell joined the faculty of University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2015 as Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Campbell's special interests include prenatal genetics and diagnostic testing, as well as management of diabetes in pregnancy.

James Cook

OB-GYN-General, OB-GYN-Gynecology Dr. Cook completed his medical education at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, in 2001 and his residency at Michigan State University/Sparrow, in 2005. He joined the faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Cook serves as Medical Director of the Palmetto Health Women's Center, the OBGYN residency practice outpatient clinic, and assists with patient care in the labor and delivery unit.

Whitney Dobek

Clinical Assistant Professor

cancer genetics, direct-to-consumer genetic testing Whitney Dobek, MS, CGC, joined Palmetto Health-USC Genetic Counseling in 2014 and currently provides genetic counseling services in cancer genetics. She is also an instructor with the Genetic Counseling Program, leading the courses in cancer genetics and molecular genetics. After graduating with her master’s degree in genetic counseling in 2010, She held a position in Macon, Georgia, establishing the cancer genetics program there, followed by a position in Augusta, Georgia, in prenatal genetics.

Dr. Kerry Sims

Clinical Associate Professor

Ultrasound, Infectious Diseases, Menopause Transition Dr. Sims joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in August of 2008. She is a North Atlantic Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner. In addition to her comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic practice at University Specialty Clinics, Dr. Sims serves as an attending physician in the labor and delivery and surgery units at Palmetto Health Richland and is the clerkship director for USC medical students.
