Dr. Canada is a reviewer for the National Science Foundation, and he presently serves on the scientific working groups for the NIH/NCRR-sponsored program LAMHDI (Linking Animal Models to Human DIsease) as well as the EPSCoR/IDeA-sponsored South Carolina Project for Organ Biofabrication

Instructional scaffolding in computing disciplines, cooperative learning in college students, pedagogical practices aimed at reducing barriers to the learning process Dr. Ronald Erdei (pronounced air-day) is an Assistant Professor of Computational Science at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. He completed his PhD in Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University in the summer of 2016, where he had been working and teaching for some years. As of Fall 2017, Dr. Erdei has been the instructor of record (under varying titles) for 15 computer programming or information technology courses, as well as 7 courses in design theory and practice.

George Pate

English and Theater Dr. Pate 's dissertation was entitled, "Reinventing Performance, Reproducing Ideologies: Literary Models of Authorship and Performance Practices from 1960 to the Present." He is a teacher, director, and playwright -- his play Indifferent Blue won the Tennessee Williams National One-Act Playwriting Contest in 2008 and was recently published by Next Stage Press. He is faculty sponsor of Rogues and Vagabonds, and The Sturdy Beggars, and coordinates the Minor in Theater.
Geometric Topology, Dynamical Systems, Education Reform (STEM) Dr. Sanders accepted a position at USCB after holding appointments at several public and private colleges around the country. His current research interests continue to include geometric topology as well as analysis and dynamical systems. He has strong interests in mathematics education and pedagogy as well.

examines the co-evolution of problem solving & problem posing in the context of mathematical activit, students’ understanding of polynomial functions of degree three or higher Dr. Sevim’s doctoral research focused on students' understanding of quadratic functions and his current research examines the co-evolution of problem solving and problem posing in the context of mathematical activity. He also conducts research on students’ understanding of polynomial functions of degree three or higher.
