He practiced law primarily as a litigator in small firms in Missouri and Illinois before getting his M.S.L.I.S from the University of Illinois in 2014. Prior to joining the USC faculty in 2017, Mr. Brackmann served three years as the Electronic Resources Librarian at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas.

Megan Brown is an Acquisitions and Electronic Resources Librarian in the Department of Law Library, School of Law.
Intellectual property, Legal implications of new technologies and trends in teaching, librarianship Aaron Glenn received his J.D. in 2013 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and his M.L.I.S. in 2015 from the University of South Carolina School of Library and Information Science in Columbia. He joined the Law Library faculty at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2016. Before joining the USC faculty, Mr. Glenn served as a temporary librarian in the Coleman Karesh Law Library and contributed to the first-year legal research and writing curriculum.

Margaret (Katherine) Magner

Katherine Magner received her B.A. in English from the University of South Carolina in 2008, and her M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina School of Library and Information Science in 2013. Prior to joining the USC School of Law Library, Magner served as a public services librarian at the South Carolina State Library and as a research and instruction librarian at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, and her M.L.I.S. in 1995 from the University of South Carolina's Davis College of Library and Information Science in Columbia. She joined the Law Library faculty at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1997 and served for six years as a Reference Librarian before becoming the Coleman Karesh Law Library's Associate Director for Library Operations in 2004.
social and access to justice, Tribal and Indigenous law Rebecca joins the UofSC Law Library from the University of Arizona where she was a Fellow at the Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library at the James E. Rogers College of Law while pursuing a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science. Before joining the law librarian cadre, Rebecca practiced law in Flagstaff Arizona for almost 20 years; first at the Coconino County Attorney’s Office, then with the Hopi Tribe as Deputy General Counsel, and ultimately as a Solo Practitioner.
Legal research, Law librarianship Eve Ross received her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007, and her M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina's School of Library and Information Science in 2014. Ms. Ross teaches Legal Research, Analysis & Writing. Her research interests include access to legal information, and technology in law practice.

Candle Wester

Bioethics, Law Library Management, Intellectual Property Candle Wester received her J.D. from the University of Nebraska and her M.S.L.I.S from the University of Illinois. Ms. Wester joined the Law Library faculty as the Assistant Director for Faculty Services in 2012. Prior to joining the USC faculty, Ms. Wester was the Access Services Librarian at Southern Illinois School of Law Library. In addition to her position in the library, she taught in the first-year legal research and writing program and co-taught an advanced legal research course.
